Let's break it down...

Two weeks left. Must make it to 6 wins for a chance.

Out: Ninjas, Punch, and Cone. Nice to know you. Bye-bye.

In: Police, Street, Chimpos, Handful, Yankovic, Leisure Kings



So this leaves two spots left for 5 teams to duke it out. I'll take you team by team through the possibilities:

#7 Team Klenk - Least likely to win the "Best Team Name" award, most likely to make it in. He already has 6 wins and plays Cap this week and Dave next week. Win two (8) and he's in. Win one (7), and it might come down to points. Win none (6), and it definitely will come down to points, as Moose plays Dagan this week - one of them must get 6 wins. Without a win, Klenk could be out, if two of the three (Moose, Dagan, or Steph) win out. Plays Cap (this week) and Mauger (week 13).

# 8 Moose is Loose - If the season ended today, then Moose would be in for the final spot. Since he plays Dagan this week, one of them will wind up with at least 7 wins - meaning, its a really important game. Win two (7) and it will probably ensure a spot - it could come down to points, if Steph wins 2 also. Win one (6) and it will mean that Dagan and Steph need to lose at least one. Win none (5) and Moose is out. Plays Dagan (this week) and Jen (week 13).

#9 this is modern architecture - Out of the playoffs by 12.8pts, if the season ended today. Again, Dagan is playing Moose. Win two (7) and it will probably ensure a spot - with points playing a role. Win one (6), Moose and Steph need to lose one and it will come down to poitns. Win none (5) and Dagan is out. Plays Moose (this week) and Jeff (week 13)

#10 Puddin' Pops - Least likely of the three 5-6 teams to make the playoffs since she trails in points by 130. Most likely she needs to win two (7) to get in at all - but that requires alot of help. One win (6) won't help much since she'd need to outsore Moose, Dagan or Klenk by close to 120 points in the next two games. No wins (5) and she's out. Plays Graham (this week) and AC (week 13).

#11 R-squad Sacapuntas - Long, long, long shot. Must get 2 wins and have Moose, Dagan, and Steph lose at least one. He's not in that bad of shape, point wise, as he's ahead of them all by at least 27 points. Big game this week as Cap v. Klenk rears it's ugly head. Playoff implications all over the place. Plays Dufresne (week 13).


So there you have it, folks. We'll see a clearer picture next week!

Last weeks picks: 3-4; Big week for the playoff push. Cap, Moose, Dagan, and Steph all won to keep their hopes alive. The top dogs didn't look so good either - which will make a great end to the regular season.
