The Gauntlet is Thrown! Week 8 Pick 'em!!1!

Okay, okay, okay - my picks haven't been great recently. But now I can sandbag it no longer - the gauntlet has been thrown by AC. So I made my picks without reading his previous blog post and this is how his ass will be beat:

Week 8 Pick 'em:

Moose (5-2) over Leisure (3-4): Geh! Bye week horrors - Shipley, Woodhead, and Blount - not the law firm you want representing you. But when SamU has to sit Boldin, one of his two reliable scorers is on the bench.

Pops (2-5) over Sacapuntas (2-5): This one was a dart thrown by a monkey - somehow that makes sense. Both teams are in need of some work...I actually want to change my pick here, but will stay with my original...

Poodles (5-2) over Peaches (2-5): I think Lloyd and Washington and Edwards remember that they are Lloyd and Washington and Edwards. Dave's RBs won't overcome Tracy's more balanced team.

Foam (4-3) over Mundays (6-1): Holy bye week, Batman! Rob catches JLU on the right week. No way he has a shot any other week than this...

Sling (3-4) over Klenk (2-5): Marion Barber is a shell of his former shell of himself. Or something like that. Mendenhall and Torain are gonna run all over the NO / DET defenses.

Wang (4-3) over Dump (2-5): Duffy, the RB free agent pool is god aw

ful. You've got to replace Turner with someone right? Graham, on the other hand, is peaking at the right time - unlike Farve's wang.

Hoodie (3-4) over Slater (6-1): Two weeks in a row for the Slater upset?!? Is Moose crazy? Foster and Jones hit great matchups this week. Plus, Brees and LT are going against PIT / GB. It might be the week...or I'll just keep picking against AC until he loses.
