Sorry for the delay in posts, but real life caught up and overtook Fantasy Football for a while. But I think we're back on track, so here's a league update!
WAIVER WIRE MADNESS!
The first two weeks are usually the busiest for the wire, since teams are trying to maximize their rosters and recover from drafting deficiencies. Here's what we have so far:
Moose is Loose: 6 moves;
Devery Henderson, Dante Rosario, Darren Sproles, James Jones,
Jamaal Charles, David Akers
Steph’s Gotta Handful: 5 moves;
Brandon Lloyd, Joe Nedney, Ahmad Bradshaw, Brian Griese, Ike Hilliard
Durham Donkey Punch: 4 moves;
Damon Huard, Bills D/ST, J.T. O’Sullivan, Kerry Collins
Idaho Trough Lollies: 4 moves;
Robert Royal, Gus Frerotte, Ryan Longwell, John Carney
Angry Al Yankovic: 3 moves;
Matt Cassel, Logan Payne, Chansi Stuckey
North Pole Leisure Kings: 2 moves;
Titans D/ST, Matt Prater
Kevin Faulk
Team America World Police: 1 move;
John Kasay

So, as you've expected from me, some unsolicited comments:
Robert Royal is by far the best pickup so far. Oh, wait....You mean Eddie Royal is the good one? Dammit! So, in other words, Robert Royal sucks. I'm glad he's wasting a spot on your roster, Dufresne.
And Jeff aparently needs a QB - Huard, Sullivan, Collins? Quite the collection! Well, I guess when you draft Carson Palmer and expect production, you need a few backups. He had so much promise but has never been the same since his knee.
The best picks have been Matt Cassel (upside with talent around him), Kevin Faulk (see Matt Cassel), Ahmad Bradshaw (three headed RB monster), and Darren Sproles (LT's big bad big toe).
Alot of kickers have changed hands - Prater, Longwell, Carney, Akers, Kasay, Nedney. This just goes to show that you don't pick kickers other than the last round.
