Weekly Game Rundown!

Ask and you shall receive: Weekly Game Rundown!

Moose (3-3) vs Pops (2-4); Moose favored by 2.1pts: Steph’s day will be dominated by one game - Indy at Green Bay. With Rodgers, Grant, Wayne, and the Pack D all going, she’s going to rely on a high scoring day by the bay – with some Manning sacks and interceptions. As for Moose, I really have no idea which team is going to show. With MJD on bye, his running backs are Dunn and White - serviceable but inconsistent. His WRs are interesting too - Moss, Hester, and Moore. One with a crappy QB, one with a crappy offense, and one with a lot to prove. I put this as a push, with a slight edge to Moose as his team has more upside than Steph’s - but this one should be the closest of the week.

Chimpos (4-2) vs Sacapuntas (1-5); Chimpos favored by 16.8pts: I think the game line got this right. Just look at the Rbs - LT, Forte, and the resurgent Rhodes. With Addai out for at least 2 weeks, these three Rbs will get the Chimpos far. Cappy has a chance though - if Dallas can get into a shootout with the Rams (even without Romo) then both Barber and TO can carry an entire fantasy team. How both Schaub (wahoo wa!) and Edwards play might decide this game. I put the Chimpos up as I think the Cowboys get up big early and sit on a lead.

Donkey Punch (2-4) vs World Police (6-0); Police favored by 30.2: Dave seems vulnerable this week. Westbrook on bye, Moss not playing well recently. But lucky him - he’s up against Jeff this week. I’m not sure if Jeff is even paying attention anymore - Fast Willie is still hurt and in his starting lineup. I don’t know if I would pay attention if I had drafted both Larry Johnson and Carson Palmer as the centerpieces of my team. Ouch. I think Dave has an off week, but still wins easily. The undefeated continues his run…

Yankovic (4-2) vs Ninjas (1-5); Yankovic favored by 40.3: I actually think this one will be closer than the line. Yankovic has a good team, no doubt. Smith and Jennings anchor the squad, but the Rbs are interesting - Jacobs, Williams and McFadden. These three are all part of running back by committees, with 8 backs fighting for three spots. SJax and Welker could have BIG games - Dallas is going to run up the score, so Sjax needs to keep his team in it while Denver D sucks. Even Matt Cassel can’t fail against the Denver D. I think Yankovic wins, but Ninjas will keep it close.

Cone (2-4) vs Klenk (4-2); Cone favored by 32.9: Klenk’s team is pretty good. The game line is for last week’s squad, not the guys he should have in for this week. Any team with Brown, Lynch, Berrian, Harrison, and Orton should put up some big numbers - god, who ever thought that sentence would ever be uttered. Graham has a shot too - Rivers, Portis, and Moore should make up for his lack of receivers. The Klenker needs a shootout in Chicago - Min vs. Chi at the Mistake by the Lake. I think Klenk takes it, again in a close match.

Handful (3-3) vs Street (4-2); Street favored by 11: If it wasn’t for AC’s bye week this week, I’d put him firmly on top of this matchup. Upset special. But wait, McNabb, Buckhalter, and Breaston are all on bye. Wallace, Ike Hillard, and Michael Clayton are all starting. If you don’t even start TJ Housyourdaddy, you really have no confidence in your team. Every one of Dufresne’s starters are top 25 within their position. But Peterson, Slaton, and Johnson aren’t playing to their potential right now and Romo is down. The Gus Bus is leavin’ the station, boys! We’ll see how this one pans out, but I think Dufresne is gonna lay the smack down this week.

Leisure King (3-3) vs Architecture (3-3); Arch is favored by 24.6, but Sam hasn‘t updated his lineup this week: The Addai loss hurts. The Pittman pickup helps big time though. The running game in this matchup sucks all around, I think. McGahee and Fargas too - gag. But I do have to say the WRs are good all around too. Plaxico, Johnson, Evans, and Marshall should all have great games. Bruce, not so much. Manning v. Manning should decide this matchup. Peyton is so hot right now, I think he carries Dagan to victory.

I think all eyes will be on AC v. Dufresne as the game of the week, with World Police blasting by the league once again. The weak will get weaker (Sacapuntas and Ninjas) and the strong will get stronger (Yankovic, Street, and Police). And I will wallow in mediocrity either way my game turns out.

I hope this satisfies you jackals. Sorry for the delay in posting, but I’ve been busy with real life once again. I’ll pick up the slack here soon.

Remember, go to the blog pages and try out the chat option at 1pm EDT - I’ll be there once again and probably talk to Dagan. Us Chicago boys need to stick together. Good luck everyone!

- Commish Moose
