Get ready for your weekly Teaser's Revenge update: Thanksgiving Edition!
Just 12 days from now our regular season ends and the playoff bracket is set. It looks like all but five teams have paid so there may be some actual money to win. (Condolences to Foam John on last year's debacle with Moose's AdWords account getting shut down.) There is a lot to talk about before we get into the awards.
Let's update the Ins and Outs:
7 wins and they are IN: Jen, Moose, Tracy, Slater, and congrats to Graham for becoming one of the elite!
8 losses and you are OUT: Dufresne, with Steph and Mauger joining the elephant walk!
Just three playoff spots and six teams duking it out:
- Klenk, Cappy and Sam: Lose and you're out!
- Dagan and Rob: Win and you're in!
- October: How's it going? What's Thanksgiving like in Singapore? Let's schedule another drunken Skype session for next August. Lovies!
And, while five teams may already have locked down playoff spots, these squads still have plenty of work to do. Although they take are the five highest-scoring teams and are guaranteed to make the playoffs, just 28 points separate #1 from #5. Pretty crazy!
And with no further ado... AWARDS!!!!!!!!! ... Thanksgiving Edition!!!!
TURKEY!
The turkey goes to... MOOSE for being such a turkey that he didn't deliver his weekly dose of witticisms to the league.
PUNKIN' PIE!
The award goes to... ME! Not only am I everyone's punkin', I also represented the iconic Thanksgiving dessert and the iconic team that everyone else wants to helm. Now that the pesky bye-weeks are behind us, I have taken back my rightful spot as the top scoring team this week!
STUFFING!
Who stuff'd their opponent the hardest this week? Graham did, topping Sam by a whopping 76 points!
CRANBERRY SAUCE!
Cranberry SAUCE takes a lot of time to make... but is it really that good? I think this stuff has stems in it!
The award goes to... OT, with 15 player-acquisitions and a losing-record to show for it. All that berry-mashing and his team isn't all that tasty!

Schwwwwiiiiiiiip! Slide it out of the can and there you have it! Oooh, oooh, can I have the numbers? (And if you don't know what that means, you've never had the stuff.)
This trophy goes to the other Sessions... Tracy. He's only added 7 players to his roster this season, yet he checks in at 8-3 with one of the highest-scoring teams in the league!
MASHED POTATOES!
Jen gets this award for being the lone 9-win team. Jen likes it with lots of herbs and spices... oh, and she always leaves the skins in!
SWEET POTATOES!
You know who eats this slop? Babies. Then they grow one tooth and never look back.
This award goes to that other Umbach: Samu! The lowest scoring team this year: he looks sloppy and tastes even worse.
