Week 12 Color Commentary

Just one week left in the regular season, let's check out our playoff scenarios!

7 wins and they are IN: Jen, Moose, Tracy, AC, and Graham had already clinched. Dagan joins the party, riding a 4-game winning streak.

8 losses and you are OUT: Dufresne, Steph and Mauger had already been eliminated. This week Samu and Klenk finished flushing their seasons down the toilet. Next season will be here before you know it!

Just two playoff spots remain with three teams in the mix. Let's look at what these teams have to do to clinch:

OT: -Win and you're in.

Foam John: -Win and you're in.

Cappy: -Must win (but you're playing Dufrense so it's pretty much a gimme) and needs either:

A) An OT loss, PLUS has to out-score OT by 81 points this week... not gonna happen.

B) A Foam John loss, PLUS has to score no worse than 14.4 points less than Foam John puts up this week. Foam John plays the scary Dagan this week, so my prediction is that Cappy backdoors his way in at 6-7. Cappy has more backdoor experience than any man I have ever met.

In other drama, we have FIVE teams at 9-3 or 8-4 and every one of them has the potential to finish 1st. The playoff seeds are completely up in the air. The big games of the week are:

Jen (9-3) vs. Moose (8-4); and

Tracy (9-3) vs. Graham (8-4)

AWARDS!!!!!!!!! (Feline Edition)

GRIDIRON MASTER

Graham takes the award for most points this week with a robust 147. Only his kicker failed to score more than 13 points this week. This team will make the title game this year if Vick and Purple Jesus stay healthy for four more games.

THE DOMINATOR

This one goes to another team that I predict will make the title game (assuming he is opposite Graham in the bracket): Dagan. The Hoodie put up 144 this week and beat our beloved commissioner by 50 points as he clinched his playoff spot. Pretty impressive.

SLOW YOUR ROLL

Not so fast, Jen! Mauger pulls out the upset of the year to knock Jen out of first place. Thanks to a 12-point performance from the Niners D on Monday night, Dave edged Jen by just 2-10ths of a point! Thanks for playing the spoiler!
